Last year I did a blog post (you can read here), reviewing a Conair curling iron, as many people kept talking about how much of a dupe it was to the t3 curling iron, but I couldn’t really compare the 2 because let’s be real… I was NOT going to spend damn near $200 on a curling iron! Nope not happening!
I do love the Conair curling iron, however, I haven’t been using it anymore because my curls no longer last with that curling iron. I’m not sure if it’s because it only heats up to 400 degrees or if it’s because of the barrel size. Which I honestly think it’s because of the barrel size.
I recently just bought the Hot Tools 1 1/4 curling iron on Black Friday and I didn’t like it. Which I was shocked because I absolutely LOVE my current Hot Tools curling iron (the 1 inch)! The only reason why I wanted a new curling iron is because the 1inch gives me tighter curls.. which I love, but I wanted another curling iron with more of a big and beachier wave. So I bought the 1 1/4 and within 30 mins my curls were flat! So back to the store that went.
Now, last week I was shopping at Costco, and little did I know that t3 products are being sold at Costco! Say WHAT… and guess what guys!? It was ON SALE for $49.99! A t3 product for less than $50… YES PLEASE!
So, you know as soon as I got home, I had to try it out. I couldn’t wait (LOL) and let me tell you… I’m in LOVE!
Now you know I’m a die hard Hot Tools 1inch curling iron fan, but guys I can see why people are hyping over the t3 curling iron. When I curled my hair that night, my curls literally stayed for 3 days.. like not even budging or flattening! It probably could of stayed even longer, but a girl had to wash her hair. So typically when I curl my hair with the Hot Tools, my curls don’t ever last as good as it did on day 3. I would always have to re-touch it. With the t3 I didn’t have to at all.
Also, something really important is that, I DON’T ever finish my hair with hairspray. So for the fact that my curls are still in tact with no hair spray and 3 sleeps, is mind blowing! So I can definitely see why people kept hyping it up. However, I’m going to be totally honest with you.. as much as I love the product, I could never spend $150+ on a curling iron. To me that is just insane! So for Costco to have their products in store now…HOONNEYYY… I AM ALL FOR THAT!!!
So, if you’ve been interested in trying a t3 hair tool as well and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, get your booty to Costco and get yourself one ASAP. You know how Costco is… depending on how a product sells, sometimes it will be there for a long time and sometimes once a product is gone.. it’s gone and never coming back. So get it while it’s there. Also, I bought mine when it was on sale. Normal price is $69.99, so you get a $20 discount! They also have a hair dryer and hair straightener as well, in case you’re not interest in the curling iron. Oh and the barrel size for the t3 curling iron is a 1 1/2!
So for my final thoughts on the t3 curling iron… I 100% love it. I love how it give me the bigger curls that I’ve been wanting. Now, would I spend the regular price of $160 on it… probably not, but I would DEFINITLY recommend purchasing it from Costco as it’s more than half the cost! Do I love it equally as I love my Hot Tools curling iron. However, I did try using the T3 on the girls hair for Christmas and for Melia’s hard it worked great, but for Avery’s hair.. her hair is so short that I was really nervous with the big ol wand! LOL but it did curl their hair beautifully!
XO
