Mom….

Mom,

Today is July 28th. To most people it’s just an ordinary day, but to you it’s your birthday. To me it’s a day I get to celebrate you! This letter is long overdue, but I want to let you know how incredible you are as a person, as a mother, and as a friend! You are one of the most hard working women that I know and would do absolutely anything for your family.

You are the foundation of our entire family, and keep us bounded. I only wish to be able to carry on what you do for the family until my end of time, and hope it continues from that point on. Your kindness is contagious and your smile brightens the world. You treat everyone as if they are family and have been in the family forever.

As a child, I always wanted to be by your side, even if it was going to the grocery store. I see so much of myself in you. You always stay busy, you are always positive, you always smile, you put family first, and you love hard.

Your grandchildren look up to you, not only as a grandmother, but as a role model; just as I do. We love you so much and hope you enjoy your day (even though you are working).
