I’m hoping you all know that song right…Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs??? Has your parent(s) ever sung that song to you when school was about to start!?!? My dad sure did!! My dad just replaced the word ‘work’ with ‘school’. Ahhh good ol’ memories.
Welp, today is the first day my girls go back to school, and I’m feeling bittersweet about it. I loved being able to spend the entire summer with them, and have truly enjoyed it, BUT they also drove me NUTS with them fighting so much! If we had nothing planed for that day, they bugged me with wanting to do at least something. They are so much like me; let’s just say we are definitely not homebodies!
Yesterday, was MEET THE TEACHER DAY at school, and it was the day we also took in all the school supplies. Avery has the teacher we’ve been praying to get, which happened to be the same teacher Melia had when she was in Kindergarten. Let me just say, her teacher is the MOST sweetest human being I’ve ever met in my life, and she just adores Avery! Which also makes Avery very excited to start school!!
As far as Melia’s teacher, I am also excited for the teacher she has (it’s actually who I wanted, but who she didn’t want.. LOL) The only reason why she wanted the other teacher is because she “heard” that the other teacher has a treasure chest in her class. Kids these days! But since seeing her class and getting the feel of everything, she’s also excited for the new year.
Are you excited for your little ones to go back to school and do you have all their supplies for class? If you still have back to school shopping to do for your kid(s), I created easy printable Back To School Shopping lists for all grade levels for you to take along with you. Be sure to check that out.
I hope your kid(s) have a GREAT school year this year, and learn endlessly.
