I decided to take this blog post a little differently and dedicate it to 1 specific person who happens to be a HUGE part of my life, my dad!
Dad,
56 years have gone by, and the 2 people I want to thank, are your parents. I thank them for making you. Without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. You have raised me and taught me to be the BEST version of myself and have showed me how a man should treat a women. I look up to you in so many ways and have chosen to raise my kids a lot like how you’ve raised me. It’s funny how I see my Bobby much like you.
I love how adventurous you are. Even though your body seems like it’s giving up, I know your soul hasn’t. As I get older, I’ve noticed how much I’m like you. You’ve raised me to love the outdoors, even with being a city girl. You’ve raised me to never give up, just like you haven’t. You raised me to love war movies. You also raised me to know the importance of life. For that, I am truly thankful.
Happy Birthday Dad! You mean the world to me and to my family. My only wish is for you to get better and hopefully ONE DAY you will be pain free, so you can start living your life again and enjoying your boat, camper, etc. Until then, I hope you know I will ALWAYS be your daddy’s girl….
Love,
Fishhead
